The Club is now able to formally announce Captains for the upcoming 2025 season. Our thanks go to outgoing Captains for the time and effort they have put into the role, and we now look ahead to the future, wishing all our new Captains and teams well.

Team Captains are as follows:

2nd XI Steve Greenwood
3rd XI Matt Collinge
4th XI Chris McGrath

Yes, that’s right! The Club have entered a 4th XI in GMCL competition this year for the first time. The aim of this team is to bring through promising junior cricketers and introduce them to senior cricket, whilst also providing opportunity for more relaxed, recreational cricket for some of our members. Hopefully this plan will be a success.

The Club will be looking at changing the way in which teams are managed, information is distributed, and availability is derived. More on that in the upcoming weeks, so watch this space and see you all at winter nets!
